Community Websites

Here are some examples of the portals that we build for our clients. Basically, when you sign up with us for a community panel, we work with you to build a place for your community. Here they can be updated on prize draws, change their details on file, fill out polls, pick up surveys, read newsletters etc.

Community Sign Up Process

The sign up process for the panel is extremely important as the fields become the things that you can most easily use to segment studies down the line. We also have the technological capability to mirror your subscriber bases and utilise your own CRM variables.

Community Metrics

Once your panel is up and running you need to know all sorts of panel health statistics. How often are people responding? What does my demographic makeup look like? How many people have unsubscribed etc. The metrics area is where you come to get this information!

Viewing a Survey

Here's a quick demo to have a look at some examples of the survey tool front end, including drag n drop questions, sliding scales and a quick view of simple logic.

Discussions: A Respondent's View

Like the heading says, this is a look at the discussion tool front end from the respondents point of view.  In a discussion you can share information with the people taking part, send them into specific threads from surveys, make the experience public or private.  Check out the video for a quick overview.

Discussions: A Moderator's View

The subject that you are wanting people to discuss might be slightly sensitive.  As such, you might want to be a little more careful and restrict what comments get posted, or lead the conversation in a particular direction.  This is the moderator's role and can be seen in this video.

Control Panel Overview

Life at Buzz Channel revolves around the control panel.  It's from here you can set up surveys, discussions, polls, newsletters and analyse results.  We wanted to give you a very quick visual picture of this area of the software.  All our client have access to this area - hopefully soon, you will too!

Setting up a simple survey

In this demo we take a quick look at the simplicity of setting up your own survey.  It's a piece of cake really - though the taste lingers a little longer and puts less on your hips.

Advanced Logic

This is a general overview of the logic engine. Over the years we've been asked to route people through surveys with so many routes, randomisations and extractions that it would make Robert Frost embarrased he only had two to choose from.  This video goes part way to seeing what's possible, though if you have any further questions just give us a bell!

Discussion Setup

A very quick view to see how simply you can set up a discussion within the control panel.  Will only take you a few minutes and then you can send the discussion to your panel members, lists or publish it on Facebook, Twitter or your website.

Translation Service

Dios mío, es tan simple! Or, as they say in Urdu - میرے خدا، یہ بہت آسان ہے!  - except they say it from the other side of the page.  The good news is that you can script a survey and then use our translation portal to give your translators direct access to create a version of your survey in a different tongue.  It's simple, intuitive, cuts down transcribing errors and been used across all languages including right to left.

Email Campaign Tools

A survey, poll or discussion is only as good as the people who actually do it!  We have a full email manager that allows you to upload lists from external sources or panels and then mail out.  The mail tools are completely integrated with the surveys and discussions allowing the ability to load hidden variables etc etc....

Exporting Data

We think our reporting tools are pretty good for 90% of our clients, yet we have some who like to get really tricky with their statistical modelling in SPSS or SAS.  We give you the opportunity to export directly out of the system a full copy of the data on file.

Top Level Results

See how quickly you can take a survey that had results and publish the top level results to Powerpoint.  It's ridiculously easy - take a look here!

The Report Builder

This is where we can get down to a bit more nitty gritty by building management reports and saving them for repetitive viewing, either while the study is live, or after the fact. All sorts of handy things you can do such as cross-tabbing, recoding and dashboard building.
